We're 23 weeks today with only 119 days left!
We're just a mere month out of crossing into the last trimester. Hard to believe after anticipating being halfway for so long.
Here's what Liam's up to this week:
-About a foot long and almost a pound and a half
-Forming little nipples (weird right?!)
-Blood vessels in his lungs are developing for breathing
-Voices are becoming more familiar which means his sister's screeches might not faze him
-His face is fully formed he just needs to fill out a little more
Here's what Mommy's up to this week:
-Finally crossed that 10lb gain mark, more like 12-15 now (depends on the day)
-Braxton Hicks contractions, more when I don't drink enough water
-Bleeding gums when I brush my teeth
-Restless sleep with frequent bathroom visits
-Slight swelling in my toes/feet on hot days (combine with salty foods= not fun)
My next appointment is in a week and a half and so far I haven't heard anything about rescheduling the anatomy ultrasound. They must have seen all they needed to. Bummer, I was hoping to get another glimpse at my sweet boy but we'll just have to wait until D-day.
Until then I'm going to soak up the warm days we have left in the week and anticipate the dreaded glucose test. I'm sure I'll be scheduling it soon.
Happy Thursday!
