Sunday Funday

Happy Sunday! Hope yours has been as fun-filled as mine has. I woke up this morning to waffles made by my dear husband.  Then we started dehydrating jerky strips, playing Settlers of Catan, and making homemade pizza all while bumming around in our jammies. Nothing like a lazy Sunday huh?!

This evening he's playing Futsal (indoor soccer) at the middle school so I thought I'd do a little blogging while we waited :).  As promised, I've finally captured a few photos of our new place and would like to share them with you. Enjoy! (P.s. More to come once the scenery is less snowy and more green.)

Here's the front of our house. The siding used to be a gross yellow color, now its a sophisticated neutral color..

And the back. Hopefully this summer we'll get a new patio or deck put in with the help of our landlord!

A Panoramic of the backyard. Sorry still trying to figure out the cool features on my camera. Our property goes all the way to the blue garage in the back and on the other side of the tree on the left. Very big actually.

The upstairs living/sitting room. Finally got a couple pictures put up. Still trying to find a coffee table.

The upstairs bathroom. Bathtub and toilet.

I'm forced to work with the tile back splash so I've decided to go with vintage/country decor. Still searching for some silhouette frames to hang on the walls....

Our bedroom. Nothing fancy. We did get a new comforter set with our wedding gift cards. Deciding where to hang a painting and picture frame in here still.

Another terrible panoramic. This is our office space upstairs across from our bedroom. Both rooms have gorgeous wood flooring and neutral wall colors. Hoping to turn this into a nursery someday if we're still here :).

The kitchen space. Slightly narrow but manageable. Luckily there's red in the wallpaper trim to match my red kitchen appliances :). Hoping to buy a three piece pub set to replace the bulky table we currently have. Key word: Someday. P.s. Notice the old school flooring haha. *shrugs shoulders*

My own laundry room! Ahhh :D. It's so nice to not share laundry with neighbors...it's seems to get done more often too!

We've got a wet bar too! Jason might rebuild it this summer so it's actually functional but for now it serves its purpose when we want to eat dinner and watch T.V. or have people over and entertain.

The bathroom in the basement. Tub/shower combo with toilet and sink. A shower that drains...yay!

Well, that's all I've got for now. My lovely husband was sitting in the middle of the family room playing video games when I wanted to get pictures soooo maybe I'll get a few shots of that space later. But, needless to say much improved from our last place.  It's clean, well kept, and way more than we bargained for.

So, until next time..enjoy!
