Liam Jayce O'Polka
is half baked and mommy is halfway to uncomfortable (already)!
Picture A Picture B
It's been quite an adjustment going from Picture A at 12 weeks to Picture B at 20 weeks. All those pesky symptoms like shortness of breath, trouble rolling over in bed, etc. have started to creep up. The good news is; I'm still much, much smaller than I was with Annalise's pregnancy but because I started out so much smaller it's been hard seeing my toosh, thighs, and waist grow that much quicker.
He'll be here before we know it though so I better embrace the love handles and hairy legs while I can. ;)
This week marks the halfway point in our pregnancy and the halfway point in the second trimester.
Liam weighs about 10.5 ounces and is about 10.5 inches long or the size of a banana from head to rump.
He's swallowing more these days and moving all the time.
He's also working on his first tarry poo for mom and dad- yuck!
I'm feeling great despite the general aches and pains that come with a growing belly. I've definitely started eyeballing the maternity clothes in the back of my closet this week as I become more dependent on the bellaband with my jeans. I'm thankful I still fit in them but they in no way button now.
We have an appointment Tuesday where we'll discuss the anatomy scan and upcoming glucose testing.
Hard to believe we're on the downhill slide with baby Liam. Before we know it we'll be preregistering at the hospital and packing bags. Annalise would have been born just a mere 19 weeks from now! It doesn't even seem like 5 months has gone by. I can't imagine how quickly the next 3.5-4 will go.
Until next time...
