Guess Whooo's ONE?

Baby Polkie is baby no more. 

We have a one year old now. Where did the time go?

Seems like just yesterday I can remember walking around Walmart with my girlfriend complaining of lower abdominal cramps. Or holding my husband's hand as I labored in the whirlpool. Or seeing our daughter's face for the first time, oblivious to what we were getting ourselves into. 

Now here we sit;

-12 teeth

-walking, running, and jumping

-babbling 6-10 words

-hugging, kissing, and crying

-introducing the "potty"

-trying to feed our self

-and learning more and more each day.

At birth we were 6lbs6oz and 19 inches long. Now, we're 18lbs2oz and 27.75 inches long.

At birth we barely had a skiff of hair, now we've got enough for a mini clip.

It never ceases to amaze me the daily changes this girl goes through. And, it's been so fun looking back and comparing photos. If only the first six months didn't fly by. As a first time mom, I found myself becoming consumed with trying to do everything "right" that I didn't get to savor some moments as closely as I would have liked to. However, I'm fortunate I was able to capture many of those moments on camera that I can revisit. I don't even remember what it's like to not be a mommy anymore and I'm okay with that. 

She's worth it. All of it.
