Since Mondays can be a drag and allergy season is upon us I thought I'd start a new series of blog posts.
Every Monday I'll post a mouthwatering recipe to help fuel your body and start your week off right!
I'm no fitness or nutritional expert but, if there's one thing I've learned from becoming a mom, is whatever I eat, she eats. So, why not make those things healthy and satisfying! :)
Plus, this gives me a way to be accountable for my own health and fitness choices.
Today's recipe comes from a blog I discovered called the "Domesticated Academic"
whose author got her PhD and loves to cook. Neat, right?

What's better than oats, honey, yogurt, blueberries, and flaxseed meal to power your Monday? Tiffany's recipe didn't call for flaxseed but I sprinkled some on top of my muffins like a crumble. Yum!
Side Note: Flaxseed meal is a great source of Omega-3 fatty oils, fiber, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Perfect for my inflamed sinuses right now! ;)
I know I'll be tasting a few of these today as I try to rid myself of this nasty bronchitis.
