Alright...where's this baby at? lol
We are 36 weeks today and have just a mere 28 days until our baby girl's due date! Where did October go? I cannot believe its going to be Halloween so soon!
Lots of exciting things happened these past few weeks! Not only did my sweet baby niece, Blaire, turn one week old...
but my cousin, Katie, and her husband Nick had their baby girl Bailey Nicole on 10-10-12! :)
She was 5lbs0oz and 19 inches long. Isn't she just precious?! Now i'm really ready to have ours lol. :)
Here's whats going on with mom and baby this week:
How far along? 36 weeks (9 mo)!
Symptoms: Fatigue, lower back ache, insomnia, breast tenderness, minor swelling.
Total weight gain/loss: +10-12lbs
Gender: Girl :)
Maternity clothes? Jason's clothes ;)
Stretch Marks? Yes :(.
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Sleep: Minimal but surprisingly still there.
Movement: Reduced movement. I really only feel a few jabs a day or a roll.
Labor Signs: Yes! I've started having what seem to be menstrual-like cramps that progress into something more painful but then dissipate after about an hour. I suppose you could categorize them as Braxton Hicks but they are far more painful than my BH have been.
Food Cravings?: Ice cream, rice pudding
What I miss: Being able make it through a whole movie without bathroom breaks.
What I am looking forward to: Seeing how my labor progresses.
Upcoming appointments/events: OB appt 10/23 for GBS swab and first cervical check.
Best moment from last week: Seeing baby Blaire for the firs time :)

I think it is fair to say that she has "dropped"....
No wonder I've been having such discomfort these last couple days...
