Garden Update!

Hey all! Hope everyone had a good weekend and is adjusting well to the time change. Jason and I decided to actually tackle the garden and yard this afternoon since the weather continues to be in the moderate 60s. Here's a few pictures of our progress..

Jason borrowed a tiller from his dad to aerate the soil before we put any seeds in. 

The cat grass and spinach has already sprouted! Luckily, spinach can grow and be harvested in a pot. Plus, we've got a lot more seeds to actually plant spinach in the garden. 

On a side note, while I was cleaning up the flower beds around the house I stumbled upon caulking, insulation board, nails, staples, gutter screws, and much more that the siding guys left behind = not cool! Needless to say, I spent the majority of the afternoon picking up their mess and less on prepping the flower beds. Jason did help me scoop up on the old mulch. Hope to get a head start on them soon!
