--7 weeks--
If you want a look at what was happening at 7 weeks with Annalise click here.
While still occasionally nauseous, I'm not vomiting like I was last time.
More often than not I'm chasing Zzzz's...partly due to a busy toddler, partly due to a growing baby. Unfortunately most nights result in an endless battle of tossing, turning, and insomnia.
Overall I'm still feeling pretty great. Tired some days more than others. Craving mainly salty and spicy foods but the indulgence in fruits still helps with the nausea.
Sprite is at the top of my fluid list next to ice cold water and milk.
Exercising but in moderation. If I go too hard I start to feel faint and most days it's hard to find motivation period. I'm pretty much forcing myself. Hopefully that subsides within the next month.
Moved my first OB appointment to March 19th (11 weeks) due to some work/personal changes.
Anxious to hear baby's heartbeat but trying to get used to looking chubby again.
24lbs less than I was at this point with Annalise which is reassuring because I feel terribly bloated and after losing all that weight it's hard to see the scale go the other direction. The important thing is that I'm much healthier than I was and more conscious of it this time.
(Practicing her swimming/kicking skills a lot lately. Can we say fishy?)
In other news, my spunky 15 month old had her baby well visit today. She's gained 2lbs and has grown 3 inches since her one year appointment making her 20lbs2oz and 30 inches long.
Not only are her legs growing but check out that hair! Exciting considering how bald she's been from day one. I can't wait to braid, clip, and twirl her wavy strawberry blonde locks. :)
Here's what Annalise has been up to this month:
-Talking more and more (20+ words)
-Feeding herself with utensils
-Following 2 step commands
-Matching names with faces
-Climbing furniture
-Taking only 1 or 2 naps a day
-Prefers carrots, broccoli, and peas over green beans
-Got her first real "boo-boo"
-Practicing sitting on the potty occasionally
-Become a real daddy's girl
-Kisses mommy's belly at least once a day
I am just absolutely amazed by how smart she is already. Especially with commands and words lately. She'll actually barter or negotiate toys, food, etc. with you. It's hilarious. Sometimes she doesn't always get her way and we've gotten our dose of temper tantrums but it's surprising how much they understand without fully communicating.
Until next time...
(The first of many matching outfits to come. Christmas is going to be so fun!)
