We have a 9 month old!

That much time has passed already?

Feels like I was just blogging about her birth. Soon, I'll have to start planning her first birthday!

Well, what's Annalise been up to these last few months?

...crawling-EVERYWHERE!

...climbing-EVERYTHING!

...eating more solid foods (loves the squeezable pouches)

...drinks 4-5 bottles a day

...does well with a sippy but still has an attachment to her "ba"

...repeating simple words (mainly "mama, dada, baba, and most recent, nana")

...has 4 teeth

...has HAIR (still not a lot, but enough to count) ;)

...stands unassisted for brief periods of time

...enjoys pushing her walker around

...sleeps 8-10hrs most nights

...naps 2-3 times throughout the day

...loves the water and baths

...and last but not least, absolutely adores other kids, her face lights up and her arms start flapping whenever she's around other children.  She'll be an awesome big sister someday.

This 6-9 month period has by far been my most favorite. She's gone through so much growth and development- its been a real joy to experience. And, of course, my heart just melts every time she crawls toward me at bed time and says "mama" while reaching out with open arms. 

It's a bummer daddy hasn't been around due to work related obligations but I've truly enjoyed this "mommy and me" time even if we've had our ups and downs. It goes by too quickly to not savor.
